In case you are asking, what is a JAMB admission letter?

A JAMB admission letter is the document that certifies your admission to your school in Nigeria as an undergraduate student.

The letter is from the Joint Admission Matriculation Board after getting your admission.

Now, remember that every undergraduate student must accept their admission status on the JAMB CAPS to get their admission letter.

The JAMB admission letter is used for both school admission clearance and NYSC mobilization as explained in our previous posts.

Without an admission letter from JAMB, you would not be able to do your first clearance. However, many schools give waivers to students without admission letters.

• JAMB registration number
• One thousand naira (₦1,000)
• JAMB examination year
• Mobile phone or Personal computer (PC)
• Internet connection
• Master, Visa or Verve ATM card

How to Print JAMB Admission Letter Online

To print your JAMB Admission Letter online, you’ll need to follow the step-by-step guide below and you’ll be done in no time.

Step 1. Visit the JAMB Efacility Portal: Enter https://jamb.gov.ng/Efacility on your internet browser and open the website on either your phone or computer. It is most recommended to use a computer for this.

Enter your login details to access your JAMB dashboard.

Step 2. Select your JAMB examination year: Click on the drawdown menu to select your examination year.

Once you have selected the year, proceed by clicking on the ‘Print Admission Letter‘ button to print your admission letter.

Step 3. Enter your JAMB Registration Number: Type your registration number in the box provided, as shown in the image sample below.

Click on the print admission letter button after selecting your exam year and entering your JAMB reg number in the provided boxes.

Step 4. Make payments online: You are required to pay a sum of ₦1,000 to proceed.

Once your payment is successful, you can then print out your JAMB admission letter.
