The Nigeria Youth Futures Fund (NYFF) Grants are open for the 2024/2025 cycle.
NYFF supports youth leadership in Nigeria by empowering young changemakers to influence long-term national development.
The NYFF grants address funding gaps for young activists and organisations, boosting their impact across Nigeria.
Types of NYFF Grants Available
The 2025 grant cycle offers three types of grants for eligible individuals and organisations.
- Small Grant โ Up to $1,000 for individual changemakers focused on community-based projects.
- Development Grant โ Up to $10,000 for grassroots organisations working on youth inclusion.
- Catalyst Grant โ Up to $50,000 for civic and innovation hubs supporting youth capacity and ecosystems.
These grants target efforts that promote good governance and address core national issues.
Eligibility Requirements
For Individuals
- Must be aged 18-35 with a proven track record in the fund’s thematic areas.
- Must demonstrate knowledge and experience in youth activism, planning, and project management.
- Must provide valid identification or an affiliation with an institution.
- Must have two referees who can vouch for the work.
For Organisations
- Must be registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission or other relevant state registration.
- Must be a youth-led organisation working on sustainable solutions within the thematic areas.
- Must provide two reputable referees.
- Unregistered groups can form a cluster and apply through a registered entity.

- For Small and Development Grants, apply on the NYFF Development and Individual Grant Application Portal.
- For Catalyst Grants, apply on the NYFF Catalyst Grant Application Portal.
