Firstly, several of the “add-ons” included with BetterLegal’s package are really just opportunities to buy other services through third parties. This is true of the insurance evaluation and tax analysis, for instance.

EIN filing also adds almost no value, as it only takes a few minutes to file for an EIN yourself through the IRS’s website.

As for web services, it’s clear from BetterLegal’s own description that the business websites they offer as part of their package have limited capabilities.

Better to go directly to a website builder service and pick a setup that’s just right for your business needs.

On top of all this, there’s no registered agent service included with BetterLegal’s formation package. We consider this to be an essential service, and it’s one that most companies offer at least a free full year of with the purchase of a formation package.
