Super Eagles striker Tolu Arokodare hit a personal milestone on Sunday, scoring his 20th goal of the season as Genk cruised to a 4-0 victory over Gent.
The 24-year-old forward, enjoying his most prolific season yet, returned to club action after making his Nigeria debut during the March international break.
Despite missing an early penalty, Arokodare responded in style, producing a brilliant turn and finish to extend Genk‘s lead in the Belgian Pro League play-off clash .
His goal marked a career–high tally across all competitions.
Genk dominated the contest, with Jarne Steuckers also missing a penalty before Arokodare’s moment arrived.
The victory keeps Genk at the top of their play-off group, four points ahead of Club Brugge.
