Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that Victor Osimhen will not remain at Galatasaray beyond his current loan spell and will return to Napoli.
He suggests Napoli are determined to finalize his sale early in the summer window.
However, a move to Manchester United is “not guaranteed,” with several other clubs, both in the Premier League and abroad monitoring the situation.
Speaking on his YouTube channel, Romano made it clear that Napoli want to avoid another drawn-out transfer saga like last summer, when Osimhen’s future dragged into September.
The Italian club has placed a €75 million release clause on the Nigerian forward and is eager to close a deal by June.
Osimhen has been prolific at Galatasaray, registering 28 goals and 5 assists in 32 appearances, further enhancing his value ahead of the transfer window.
Despite United’s known interest, Romano emphasized that Osimhen’s salary demands and total package remain a concern, and the Red Devils are also exploring other striker options.
The situation remains fluid, with multiple suitors in play—especially from England and Saudi Arabia.
