Comr. Famade Oluwapelumi became the president of ESSA for 2023/2024 Academic session after the completion of a successful hitch free election which took place in the four quarters of the Faculty of Environmental studies in Yaba College of Technology.
Oluwapelumi hails from Ogun State, she is student from the department of Urban and Regional Planning.
During a short interview with Famade Oluwapelumi, We were able to understand that Ms Famade loves music as well as learning new things even though she loves personal spaces. She is a one-time Vice president of her department, One-time Deputy Governor of her class during her ND.
During the interview we asked few questions like;
● How you have experienced yabatech so far?
“hmmmm it’s been a good ride; competitions here and there got a chance to discover parts of me and i am still discovering, it’s truly the best and the first polytechnic ain Nigeria and I’m happy to be a bonafide student among all I got to meet amazing academic staffs, non-academic staffs and students.” Oluwapelumi replied.
● Your Plan for the present students under your Administration?
My plan for the present students under my administration: To consistently and relentlessly represent the views and interests of all students especially as it concerns their education and welfare before the school management. She said
● Your advice to the students under your administration and incoming students?
My advice to the students under my administration and to the incoming students is to be morally upright and academics comes first and don’t be carried away by the spur of the moment. Thank you and God bless you all 🙏
