Run, don’t walk, to shop this buzzy new shoe.
Marni and Hoka joined forces this week, dropping a trendy take on the latter’s celeb-approved Bondi Sneaker.
The collaboration fuses the running shoes‘ comfort and support with Marni’s signature shapes, resulting in a design creative director Francesco Risso told Highsnobiety is “sophisticated yet exaggerated” and “minimalist and maximalist at once.”
Priced at $395, the co-designed kicks are available now in four versatile colors: brown, gold, light blue and a trendy cherry red.
It’s not the first time Hoka’s put a fashion-forward spin on its functional sneaks, as it teamed up with Reformation on a line of platform versions late last year.
Given that collab flew off the shelves, it’s safe to say these Marni sneakers won’t stay in stock for long, either.
Hoka’s established itself as a celebrity must-have in recent years; we’ve spotted the Bondi on Kylie Jenner, Olivia Wilde, Kristen Bell, Gwyneth Paltrow, Reese Witherspoon and Gisele Bündchen (to name but a few), while several stars also own the popular Cliftons.
The label’s a fashion-editor favorite, too, worn by several New York Post staffers. (This writer personally counts the Bondi as a go-to, having purchased multiple pairs over the years.)
And while the original version’s designed for everything from running miles to running errands, the new Marni collab means you can rock the comfy kicks with more elevated everyday outfits, too.
